I owe a lot to hockey. This sport has given me lifelong friends, invaluable lessons, and a world of opportunities. Now, it’s my turn to give back.
This year I began volunteering with HEROS, a local non-profit that uses hockey to empower and inspire marginalized youth. Most importantly, HEROS provides a safe and stable environment for young people to learn, connect, and succeed; a valuable opportunity which would not be financially possible otherwise.
