Tis’ The Season…..To Support Local.
Shopping for the holidays always seems to be one of those ventures that can either excite us or completely stress us out. Are you the type to get your shopping done online from the comfort of your home? Or do you like the energy and brave the frenzy at the malls? Chinook Mall during the Holidays…on a weekend, anyone?
As we get closer to the big day I can feel the chaos of Christmas shopping in the air.
With the questions and delays looming over Canada Post this year, it could be a great motivator to go and check out all of the amazing local YYC businesses perfect for your Christmas shopping.
I have always done my best to support local small business no matter where am spending my money and Calgary can truley accommodate it all!
In virtually every community in the city you can find amazing Christmas markets featuring talented local artisans and shops offering everything from delicious homemade food to toys, clothing and everything in between.
My personal favourites over the Holidays are the incredible Spruce Meadows Christmas Market (hopefully you can catch the tail end as it wraps up Dec 2, 2018) and Market Collective at BMO.

After all of that you need to get all of those gifts wrapped. Go check out some of the local malls to see where they will be hosting “Wrapping for a Cure” for Cystic Fybrosis.
From December 1st to December 24th Cystic Fibrosis Canada volunteers will be Wrapping for a Cure in malls throughout Calgary.
