It’s been a minute since I checked in. In a nutshell- wow, how can 2+ months go by so quickly? It seems each month flies by faster than the last. Lot’s of movement in the market in Q1. A pace we haven’t seen in many years. It’s safe to say 2020 was a pause in real estate, and with sellers entering the market and buyers taking advantage of record low interest rates, you have the makings of a sellers market. Also known as, a great time to list if you’ve been putting it off.

With continued anxiety with the increase in cases and the new measures implementing at the end of the weekend, we encourage you all to stay strong and get outside (even if it’s a bit rainy)… Enjoy the weekend, and have a great and safe Mother’s Day.

City of Calgary, April, 2021⁠ April saw record highs in sales, a significant bounce back from the lows seen in the midst of the pandemic last year. ⁠Despite the current third wave we’re experiencing, there is optimism in the housing market with surges in sales, recent price gains and tight market conditions. ⁠Demand remains high, and the seller continues to be favoured. Sales improved across most price ranges, and product priced over $600k represented 25% of sales- a significant increase from last year. ⁠
